Probationary Members
Like starting any other business, starting a heliski or snowcat operation is an involved process. In order to give new operators support and some of the benefits of being a member of HeliCat Canada they can join as probationary members. A full member is assigned to them as a mentor to work them towards their full membership, which involves a comprehensive appraisal and inspection of their business. This appraisal focuses specifically on their operating procedures.
